Spry Class Descriptions

All of our Spry yoga classes are based on the Spry Mind+Body blueprint, which was developed to cultivate physical and mental strength, flexibility and balance.

Spry Chair Yoga

This class is perfect if you have trouble getting up and down from the floor and still want to build strength, flexibility, and balance.

Spry Chair + Mat Yoga

We start this class sitting in a chair, and progress to a series of standing poses. We get down on the floor and finish the class with seated and reclining postures. You only have to get up and down once!

Spry Mat Yoga
The mat class begins seated on the floor and progresses through a series of seated then standing yoga postures before coming back to the mat to close the practice.

Spry Power Yoga
This class will introduce a modified version of sun salutations and invite you to move with your breath in a gentle flow. We will get up and down more from the mat than we do in our other Spry classes, increasing mobility, while building strength and stamina.

Meditation
Learn to quiet your mind and find equanimity. This class includes meditation and pranayama (breath work).

 

We're Online with LIVE classes!

Here's how it works:

  • Sign up for a class  just like you always do (click "Sign Up" below or use our app).
  • Look for an email from our technology partner, FitGrid, containing the link to connect to the Zoom meeting.
  • Click on the link and connect to Zoom. We recommend doing this a few minutes early if you have never used Zoom before and need to download the app and test your system.
  • Set your mat and props up about 6 feet from your camera so that we can see you and give you cues.
  • Adjust your volume so that you can hear your teacher. Once we start, we will mute your device so that your pets and family can carry on as always.
